Hello! My name is Callie Brown and this is my ninth year to teach. I have wanted to teach since I was a little girl and thoroughly love what I do. I graduated from Hudson in 2003 and graduated from SFASU in 2007. I taught second grade my first year at Diboll, and this is my eighth year to teach at Hudson. I feel extremely blessed to get to teach at such an amazing district that is so special to me. I have lived in this area my entire life and don't plan to ever go anywhere else!
My husband Erik and I have one daughter and another little blessing on the way, due Valentine's Day. Being a mom is so special to me and I cherish my time with my daughter Ella Kate, who is three.
I love getting to know my students at the start of each school year. Children are each unique in their own way and I love having the opportunity to get to teach and love twenty-two new smiling faces each year!
Parents, please know that I would love to answer any questions you may have about anything going on in our classroom this year. I believe it is so important for there to be a close parent/teacher relationship in order for students to reach the highest level of success. I am looking forward to an amazing year with your child. Thank you for sharing your child with me!
